#9 Turning 20

August 31, 2026
It's 11:50 PM on 31st August and in 10 minutes I will complete two decades of life experience. Turning 20... It's like... I now have total, complete control over my life. What happens, and what doesn't. I would be responsible for every success I achieve and every failure I encounter. Exhilarating but... numb. It's like... I'm just used to staying locked in at this point. It doesn't feel special anymore that I have this brand new marker on the calendar to start doing something. This is the point where everything can tilt to me winning ten fold, or me losing all that I have achieved. I am this. I am a winner. I am destined for greatness. The weight of this event isn't even heavy, it's fuel, it's the potential energy that will press me, drive me, shape me. I am the person I want to be. Fah, just turned 20 let's rock this shit. Here's the plan for the next decade: I want to retire as soon as possible, but I want to work for the rest of my life. I want to work without the worries of financial stability. I want to sit outside a cafe in France, eat breakfast and then walk around a little. Start my work at 11. Play with whatever sparks my curiosity. Find something new, learn something more about the world, apply and keep improving at life. That's it, honestly. For 6 years I've been thinking how can I craft a life with everything I want in it like cars and penthouses and the lavish lifestyles... but... It's a facade. Life is a facade. It's one fleeting moment at a time. Never in our grasp. What IS in my grasp is the ability to put the weight of all my intellectual capability at a single converging point of research in computer science to bring something of monumental value in a domain which could be rewarded extrinsically / monetarily. That's in my control. And that is what I will do. To achieve what I want my life to be like within the next decade. To be free from uncertainty.
